…because “I’m a King’s Kid!” No really, I just have to tell you this short lil’ story. You may have noticed the signing out of the original Daily Mercies
to read “In His Steps”. You may have even asked yourself why? The answer is too sweet.
When my sister and I were first saved my mom bought us these pins to wear as a celebration and witness. Well, mine read “I’m a King’s Kid”, while hers read “In His Steps”. Naturally, I was jealous and wanted hers, but you know, mine turned out to be great as kids would say, “You’re not a king’s kid!” requiring explanation. I don’t think I saw the witness then as I do today.
I also used these words in a lesson of who we are in Christ and having on the Helmet of Salvation. We even used Burger King hats! But you know, Rena’s little saying seem to fit perfectly as we walk daily in the steps of His mercy, and with this meme being her baby, the words seemed appropriate.
What a witness and celebration we’ve continued to share together, and what a blessing to share with you! Please join us in The Daily Mercies to come and know, He’s running
near YOU!
*Don’t forget to leave those comments. We’d love to hear what you have to share.
**Please note: Due to recent site changes, you may not see a post on Rena’s blog this week. You’ll be hearing from her next Sunday, so be sure to stop by soon.

Look what time it is…but I’m reading this just now.
And it is the sweetest thing.
Transition is under way.
Hang in there with me, Sis.
And thanks for this sweetest post that truly blessed me.
LOVE YOU!
….In His Steps!
Hey Ginger!
I laughed about the Burger King crowns – I worked with our church kids and they sang a song called “King’s Kid” and wore their BK crowns – so cute!
My favorite line from the song:
“I’m absolutely, positively, wonderfully, His
A bonafide, justified, King’s kid”
I do love walking in His steps…
I’m a Believer!
