Worship Wednesday: Our God IS MORE Than Enough!

“And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man’s mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?  Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.” Ex. 4:11-12

He will be our VOICE!

“For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.” Ex. 7:12

His power IS greater!

“And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried unto the LORD because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.” Ex. 8:12

He CALLS us to intercede—even for our Pharaoh.

“And I will put a division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be.” Ex. 8:23

HE put a division for the protection of HIS people.

“And Moses said, Behold, I go out from thee, and I will intreat the LORD that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, to morrow: but let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to the LORD.” Ex. 8:29

WE must continue to intercede—even when things don’t seem to be going our way.

“And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, To morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.” Ex. 9:25

His appointed time is not OURS! (As my son, Gordon says: “God is the doctor who STILL makes house calls!”)

“And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth. Ex. 9:15

His POWER will be shown, His name declared!

“And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.” Ex. 10:3

He gives final warning as HIS mercy endures.

“Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and intreat the LORD your God, that he may take away from me this death only.  And he went out from Pharaoh, and intreated the LORD.” Ex. 10:17-18

We must continue the path of FORGIVENESS!

“And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt. And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.” Ex. 10:21-23

He brings LIGHT amidst total darkness.  The (3) days symbolic of the death of His son.

“And Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in that day thou seest my face thou shalt die. And Moses said, Thou hast spoken well, I will see thy face again no more.”

As Pharaoh’s WORDS are his snare, so shall the enemy fall.

Let our words be His and we pray and rejoice in HIS report.

“And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.   And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.” Ex. 3:4-5

Revere His words.

“Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them. Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.” Ex. 3:9-10

He will see you and deliver you from opression.

“And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?   And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.” Ex. 3:11-12

Take no account of who you are, and know He is with you at all times—in spite of your weaknesses.

“And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.”  Ex. 3:14

He being the “I am” signifies His sovreignty—as being all things to us at all times—meeting our every need.  He is “Shammah” who is there,  (here there and everywhere) who makes all things complete.  He will do as He said in verse 12.  The cross being our sign—His word our answer.

How’s that for daily mercy worth taking your shoes off?

WFMW: Getting Reaquainted with Palates WFM!

Did I just say exercise WFM?

Denise always provides a good Pilates Yoga mix.

Same here. I so need a new resistance band for one of these.

Yes, I did!  I am finding more and more how Palates works best for me.  Now, if only I can keep up with my weekly regimen.

I prefer my Denise Austin DVDs, but find Winsor to work great when getting back into the swing of things.

Perfect for a beginner and continued workouts.

And yes, as a home-school mom, I do like Fit Kids, Wii Fitt, and My Fitness coach. While they all have their pro’s and cons, It’s nice to have a selection.  If only there was a better combo of these for both kids and adults alike.

My kids are so over this one! Maybe the workout is too much, or was that the kid factor? No, I love it. Guess they're just outgrowing it.

With the fun of Wii Fit, demonstration of MyFitness Coach, and true workout of the rest, what more would we need?

She may be animated, but she'll make you work hard.
